Tanya’s Story

Starting with sailboats, flying planes, and opening a successful flight School

When I was 17, I spent 8 years cruising around on sailboats.  I bought and sold 3 during that time – basically buying fixer-uppers and selling them for a lot more money.  Thus, moving up in size each time!  (27’ to 46’)

I started my sailing life in Brisbane Australia and sailed North to The Great Barrier Reef. I ended my sailing life 8 years later in Maine.

While I was in Maine,  I learned how to fly an airplane which led me to run a Flight School and teach others to fly. Getting my certifications and licenses was a huge challenge being a 26 year old female. However, I ran a successful Flight School and my X ran the maintenance department.

We had fun and I learned a lot about being a businesswoman and being married ...

Turn of Events…

Divorce, owning a Real Estate Business, her own coach, and the road to happiness.

This eventually led me to a divorce which led me to being a corporate trainer for Jenny Craig. After that, I opened my own Real Estate Business. This then led me to hire a coach – and to this day she is my hero! Finally, this led me to become a coach for a corporate coaching company.

After 7 years I woke up and decided to find my courage and be brave. I quit my internal coaching gig! Talk about scary.

Now I own my own coaching company.  Period.  Breathe. So here I am today!

I am happy.

My Life Today

Who I am today, what I am passionate about, and why I do what I do.

I am a business coach with a huge emphasis on not only growing my client's businesses… I focus on my clients becoming amazing leaders.   P.S. We are all leaders.

I am passionate about leadership coaching – all the way to my bones and back again. Now, I want to be a hero to my clients and support them in their goals and dreams. They are now living their best lives and I am blessed to have impacted their journeys and get to see them cross their finish lines and start new ones.

I am also on this planet to be a grandmother. I love my family, my dog Charlie, and listening to the ocean waves as I fall asleep. I love movies, musicals, concerts, square dancing, eating out, and kayaking. I don’t love the snow.
